If the current designs of wireless earbuds have never quite worked for you, Bose is ready to test a new design. These wireless Sport Open Earbuds won't fit in your ear canal. They sit above your ear canal, allowing you to hear the music and still hear the sounds around you.

Although the design is awkward, Bose claims that they can be used in all weather conditions. They also offer clear, clear audio that you can hear without needing to blast it to everyone. I will need to hear reviews from audio experts before I can fully believe in the product. However, it's worth looking at a different headset that is more comfortable.

'Minecraft Earth' will close on June 30th

Microsoft's AR mobile game was launched in the US one year ago.

Minecraft Earth players have until June 30th to play the augmented reality title before Microsoft shuts down its servers, and it's not available for download from app marketplaces. According to its developer Mojang Studios, "Minecraft Earth was created around free movement and cooperative play and collaboration - two things that have become near impossible in the current climate."

The studio is rolling out a last update it says contains modifications "to ensure that your time on Minecraft Earth as fun as possible." Among other tweaks, the update does away of real-money transactions and dramatically reduces the time it will take players to create and construct items within the game.

Microsoft will remove player data on July 1st and the game that debuted at WWDC 2019 will be gone. Continue reading.

And SafeShutter equipped business laptops.

Already, the CES 2021 rush has begun. Dell has introduced new products that are tailored to specific business needs. The first ultrawide Dell 40-inch monitor has resolution of 5,120 x 2,160 and can accommodate the 4K resolution of a video as well as display editing controls to the sides.

It's also releasing a set of monitors designed specifically for video conferencing, due to the built-in 5MP cameras as well as speakers, noise cancelling microphones and even dedicated Microsoft Teams buttons. The industry's first Latitude 9000 laptops have an "automatic shutter", which closes off the camera when it isn't being used. This is crucial if you want to use your laptop for Zoom calls, or in places which photos aren't permitted. Continue reading.

Tile's next-gen tracker could use ultra-wideband technology

And you might use AR to find it. We're still waiting to see dedicated tracker tags from Apple and Samsung, but Tile is trying to ensure it's staying competitive. According to TechCrunch, Tile is currently working on a tracker that utilizes ultra-wideband (UWB) technology instead of Bluetooth to help locate lost objects. UWB has a handful of advantages over Bluetooth as its high-frequency signals can transmit spatial and directional data, which make it more accurate at finding the position of devices and tags. UWB is already available in the most recent iPhones, including the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra (and Galaxy Z Fold 2) models. Continue reading.

Verizon suspends 3G Shutdown Plans indefinitely

It will continue to operate the network along with its 5G, 4G, and 5G networks. Verizon Media, the parent company of Engadget, isn't planning to close its 3G network anytime soon. Kevin King, the carrier's spokesperson, told Light Reading that Verizon's "3G network is in operation" and that the company isn't planning to stop it from operating. He also stated that the company will "work with customers to move them to the latest technology."

Verizon has stopped activating 3G phones in the year 2018 as "virtually all traffic on its network is on its 4G LTE network," it said at the time. King and Verizon disclosed the number of 3G devices still connected, but the figure could be significant if they decided to continue to operate the network in conjunction with 5G and 4G. Amazon buys planes for the first time in order to expand its cargo air fleet

As of this moment, Amazon Air leased aircraft.

Amazon's cargo airfleet appears be a huge success. The company owns more than 85 planes in its fleet to bring what customers worldwide want by 2022, up from the 11 planes it introduced in 2016. Amazon's most recent announcement is notable because it marks the first purchase of additional aircraft, instead of leasing them. Continue reading.
