New To RS3 But Familiar With OSRS Ironman Or No

Content is mostly soloable in rs3, but for some things you need a group to do it with and I've heard it can be hard to find a group willing to take a learner, much less an ironman with poor gear and a learner. If you are a member of an active clan and willing to take you along, this will not be a problem.

Ironman on rs3 has a very different feel to osrs that I felt made it not worth the restrictions. I was able to reach level 60 herblore just by completing quests and throwing in my early lamps.

The mining and smithing rework means you can make your own gear without a (relative to osrs) huge grind so you will have melee gear to grow into all the way up to t90 gear (I think? Maybe 70 if you don't have other levels and quests done)

Many content uses low drop rate, untradable drops to account upgrades (some of these you can skip with a ge on a main). This makes me feel some of the osrs ironman feel without the major restrictions.

I also feel like supplies are harder to keep up in rs3 so you need to back track content a lot (sometimes repeatedly) to keep your supply levels up. SAFEBIN

A lot of daily scape feels so necessary on an ironman, but on a main, you don't really HAVE TO do much.

Also I did desert treasure last night with tge unlimited run energy buff from the spa and I don't think I can go back to osrs until leagues now lol

Edit: Also, quest bosses have a lot less difficulty on rs3 as far as I can tell. Like to unlock priff on my osrs iron was a knock down brawl with no food left (hand made tuna potatoes) and blood spells with a master wand to make it through. I don't think I even ate food on the boss to unlock priff on rs3.
