Minecraft now has a demo. Procrastinating exavators: You no longer have an excuse to skip our favorite open-world video game. It even branded cows Notch made for us. These animals are programmed to be voodoo cows. Each PC Gamer editor feels a slight thud when they are punched. Be gentle.

Minecraft is customizable. First, create a personal skin. Srazy If you're lazy you can download one if our favourite custom skins.

Next, install some Minecraft Mods. Minecraft is already vast, but why not add airships or muskets to the mix? It's almost guaranteed to be fun.

The demo is generous. Each tool, mineral and item can be found. You can dig and frolic in your new world for 90 minutes, before it "locks" to make it uneditable.
